NOTICE OF CONTINUED SPECIAL MAGISTRATE HEARING & MEDIATION

TOWN OF JUPITER

TO THE CITIZENS OF THE TOWN OF JUPITER, FLORIDA

Pursuant to Section 70.51(15)(b), F.S., NOTICE IS HEREBY PROVIDED that on June 6, 2025, beginning at 10 A.M. the parties hereto will meet with the Special Magistrate to continue mediation consistent with the Florida Land Use and Environmental Dispute Resolution Act, Section 70.51, Florida Statutes (the Act).  The mediation is expected to  continue until adjourned or recessed until no later than 5:00 pm. 

 

The mediation will begin in the Town Council Chambers at  210 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458

 

SAID HEARING is for the specific and limited purpose of permitting the Special Magistrate to continue with mediation between the parties and to explore settlement options and otherwise seek a resolution of the property rights dispute based upon that certain Request for Relief filed by the Petitioners.  The properties in dispute are generally located at the northeast corner of Clemons Street and North A1A and have the following PCNs:

 

Parcel Control Nos.:   Nos. 30-43-40-31-03-003-0011 (+/- 9.84 acres) and 30-43-40-31-04-000-0121 (+/- 0.59 acres).

The Special Magistrate may schedule such prehearing conferences with counsel for the parties for the purposes of preparing for, and discussion of, the issues to be mediated prior to June 6, 2025.  

The Town shall provide any other public notices and/or postings on its website as may be required by Section 70.51, Florida Statues, in advance of the hearing established pursuant to this Notice.

This public meeting is informal and is open to the Public, however, the public meeting will be recessed and only the parties’ representatives and counsel are permitted to participate in the confidential mediation session which is to be conducted following the recess.
