Dan Guisinger Appointed to Jupiter Town Council
JUPITER, Fla. – During its Town Council meeting Tuesday evening, the Jupiter Town Council appointed Dan Guisinger to fill the vacant Town Council position for District 1.
Guisinger brings a breadth of knowledge to the Jupiter Town Council, including two years as a member of the Planning and Zoning Commission, a position he has held since 2023.
A resident of Jupiter for more than 30 years, Guisinger has a long and distinguished career in the aerospace industry, including more than 25 years in engineering leadership. Before his retirement, he served as Director of Systems Engineering and Development at Aerojet Rocketdyne from 2013 through 2023. He was called out of retirement in 2024 to the position of Chief Engineer, before once again retiring in 2025. Guisinger went through Pratt & Whitney’s Leadership Development program in 1995 after starting with the company in 1978.
In addition to the Town’s Planning and Zoning Commission, Guisinger has served on the Board of Directors at Velocity Credit Union for 12 years and has contributed both time and his leadership skills to numerous local organizations, including Digital Vibez, Forgotten Soldiers Outreach, Peggy Adams Animal Rescue, and the Jupiter Tequesta Athletic Association (JTAA). He has also served on advisory councils for Jupiter Middle and Jupiter High Schools.
Guisinger holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics, with an emphasis in Nuclear Engineering, from Ohio State University, a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Houston, and a Master of Science in Quality Management Systems from the National Graduate School.
Guisinger will be sworn in to the Town Council at the June 3 Town Council meeting.
