PUBLIC NOTICE
TOWN OF JUPITER
Please take notice that a Town Council Special Meeting is scheduled for Monday, April 13, 2020 at 6:00 P.M., in the Town of Jupiter Council Chambers at 210 Military Trail. In keeping with the practice of social distancing, this meeting will be held online only.
The public business to be discussed are Resolution 25-20, Certifying the results of the Jupiter Municipal Election held on March 17, 2020 and installation and swearing-in of Council Member Ron Delaney and Council Member-Elect Cameron May for their three-year terms.
Members of the public may participate remotely in the following ways:
- If you are a member of the public who would like to make public comment in advance, and have your written comment provided to the Council, email laurac@jupiter.fl.us by 5pm on Monday, April 13, 2020. Include your name, address, and your written comment in the email. If you do not have access to email and wish to make a comment, please call the Town Clerk’s office at 561-741-2352 by 5pm on Monday, April 13, 2020.
- If you are a member of the public who would like to make live public comment, join the meeting via Zoom webinar on a computer or smart phone at the following link: https://zoom.us/j/877165181. You may wish to download the Zoom app to your computer or smart phone in advance of the meeting. When you join via computer or smart phone, you will be able to see video of the meeting and the Council members. Joining the meeting online does not require a webcam, but does require that your device have a working speaker and microphone. Participants will be automatically muted upon entering the meeting, and will be “called on” by the meeting moderator when it is their turn to speak via the chat feature. Public comments are limited to up to 3 minutes each.
- If you are a member of the public that wants to watch the meeting live and you do not wish to make any public comment, you may do so by watching the Town’s standard live-stream at www.jupiter.fl.us/live.
- A recording of the meeting will also be available beginning Tuesday morning on the Town’s website at www.jupiter.fl.us/live (click on “Town Hall”).
