Skate Park Rules and Policies

In order to ensure a safe as well as fun atmosphere at the skate park, the following rules and regulations will be enforced at all times:

Skate Park Rules

  • Membership pass or session fee is required for entry. Proof of residency may be requested to qualify for the resident membership rate.
  • Participants must sign in and complete required forms before each session.
  • Helmets must be properly strapped and worn at all times; elbow and knee pads are recommended. Full roller hockey equipment must be worn when participating in roller hockey activities on the roller rink.
  • Skateboards, scooters, inline skates, and BMX bikes are limited to designated sessions. Three-wheeled scooters are permitted on Saturdays from 9:00 am to Noon.
  • Shirts must be worn at all times.
  • Participants must supply their own equipment.
  • Participants must be 4 years of age or older to enter the skate park. Participants under 10 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • The Town of Jupiter may limit participants for safety reasons.
  • Use of the skate park is at your own risk.

Strictly Prohibited

  • Food, drinks, or gum beyond the viewing area.
  • Skateboarding, inline skating, or biking in the parking lot.
  • Profanity or reckless behavior.
  • Alcohol, smoking, or vaping.
  • Trespassing during closed hours may result in trespass infractions and suspension of park privileges.

Hours of Operation

For safety and supervision purposes, the skate park is only open during Skate Park hours of operation. Sessions are specific to skateboarding, scooters, inline skatess, and BMX bikes. Please refer to the Session Schedule for specific days and times.

  • Monday – Friday | 3:00 pm – 9:00 pm
  • Saturday | 9:00 am – 9:00 pm
  • Sunday | 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm
  • School Vacation Days or Early Release Days | 12:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Safety and Weather

  • The skate park may close due to unsafe conditions such as wet surfaces, lightning, or inclement weather. A lightning prediction system is in use at this park. Always follow lightning warning alerts and seek shelter immediately when lightning is detected. The system status can be viewed online here.
  • Rain checks are issued for individual sessions if less than half of the session is completed prior to park closing.
