Welcome to Surf and Skateboarding & Scooter Camps, collectively known as “Camp Shred,” where adventure and excitement await!

These interactive, outdoor camps are designed to ignite the thrill of surfing, skateboarding, or scootering under the expert guidance of the staff from Locals Surf Shop. Whether you are a beginner looking to try out something new or an experienced rider aiming to hone your skills, these camps offer the perfect environment for all skill levels. With a focus on fun, safety, and skill development, each camp is packed with activities that will help you master the techniques of these exhilarating action sports.

Registration Details - Registration begins Thursday, April 2, 2026

All registrations must be completed by 8:30 pm in person or by 11:45 pm online on the Thursday prior to the start of camp.

Online Registration is highly encouraged.
You will need to know your Rectrac Household login information. You may create an account online and retrive login information here. For additional assistance, please contact the Jupiter Community Center at (561) 741-2400, Mon-Fri, 8:30 am-8:30 pm; Sat 8:30 am-3:30 pm. 

In-Person Registration:
Available at the Jupiter Skate Park, located at 1501 W. Frederick Small Road, Monday-Friday 3:00-8:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am-8:00 pm, and Sunday noon-6:00 pm or at the Jupiter Community Center, located at 200 Military Trail, Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-8:00 pm.

Payment & Refund Policy:
Full payment is required at registration. All refunds must be requested prior to the first day of camp and are subject to a $10 cancellation fee.

Accommodations:
In accordance with the ADA, all persons with special needs are welcome to register. Please call the Jupiter Skate Park, 561-630-5684, at least two weeks prior to camp start date in order to ensure appropriate needs can be accommodated.

Skateboarding & Scooter Camp


Skateboarding & Scooter Camp takes place at the Jupiter Skate Park, located in Abacoa Community Park, and will include activities such as evaluation, development, and enhancement of skills, drills, and free skate & scoot, all supervised by staff members from Locals Surf Shop. 

Equipment Needed: A skateboard or 2-wheeled scooter, helmet, sunscreen, and water bottle are required. Knee and elbow pads are recommended.

Surf Camp takes place at the Jupiter Civic Center, located in Carlin Park on the beach. The instructors from Locals Surf Shop will teach campers about ocean awareness, surfing techniques that range from beginner to advanced, surf etiquette, and wave selection while ensuring safety and providing a fun environment. In addition to surfing, campers may have the opportunity to swim, snorkel, fish, and enjoy the beach environment. 

Equipment Needed: Sunscreen, rashguard, and plenty of water and snacks are needed.
