Business Tax Receipts

 Welcome, thank you for bringing your business to the Town of Jupiter.

 A Business Tax Receipt (BTR) is an annual tax collected by the Town of Jupiter from all businesses located in the Town or doing business within the Town of Jupiter city limits.
Licensing year is October 1st - September 30th with early renewal opening on July 1st.
Required documentation and fees vary. Each business and professional license must be renewed annually.

Business Tax Receipt Renewal Season

BTR Renewals run from July 1st through October 31st.  Please review the user guide "How to Renew Your Existing BTR" before attempting to renew your BTR, it will make the process much easier.  You may renew, pay and print your 2019 BTR by clicking the button below.

Town of Jupiter Business Tax Workshop

August 27th 5:00pm to 7:00pm

200 Military Trail (Community Center) Room A 

The Town's Business Department will be on hand to help with 2019 renewals and answer questions any questions or concerns you may have as a Town of Jupiter Business Owner. 

The Small Business Administration will also have several representatives on hand to help with everything from writing a business plan, opening a business, management, marketing, loans and many helpful topics at NO COST!

Attention Out of Town Contractors

Out of Town Contractors pulling permits, no longer need to register with our office. When you apply for your permit simply include your general liability, workmen's comp and contractor certifications with the permit documentation.  You can find a guide to help with the building permit/application process on the Jupiter Community Development System page under Helpful Links.
