The Town of Jupiter has officially broken ground on the new Cinquez Fire Station, a vital addition to our community’s public safety infrastructure. Designed to enhance emergency response times and serve the growing needs of our residents, this state-of-the-art facility will provide modern equipment, improved resources for firefighters, and increased protection for the surrounding neighborhoods. Carver Avenue Road Closures

As an effort to inform residents and businesses of traffic impacts, please be aware of the following upcoming road closures affecting Carver Avenue.

Temporary Lane Closure – Tuesday, February 11

8:00 am to 3:00 pm

  • The far-right westbound lane of Indiantown Road will be closed from Maplewood Drive to just west of Carver Avenue.
  • The entrance to Carver Avenue will be closed during this time.
  • Direct access to Carver Avenue from Indiantown Road will not be available.

Access to Carver Avenue, Jupiter Eye Center, and Nearby Residences:

Drivers should use the following detour:

  1. Turn onto Center Street
  2. Turn north onto Thelma Avenue
  3. Turn left into the former Serenity House parking lot
  4. Continue west through Cinquez Park to Carver Avenue

To exit the area, motorists should follow the same route in reverse.

Full Road Closure – February 16 through February 25

  • Carver Avenue will be closed just north of the Jupiter Eye Center parking lot.
  • Access to the Jupiter Eye Center parking lot will remain open.

Construction Update – February 2026

Construction at the Cinquez Fire Station continues to make steady progress as exterior finishes, interior work, and site preparation advance.

Exterior work is moving forward with stucco installation underway on the north side of the building, and trim on the tower now installed. Window installation throughout the building has been completed, and roof panel installation is approximately 90 percent finished as the structure nears full enclosure.

Interior finishes are also progressing. Painting has begun, drywall installation is nearing completion, and all insulation has been installed, marking an important step toward final interior work.

Site improvements are underway as well, with grading beginning for the apparatus bay on the east side. In addition, the foundations for two mast arms have been installed; these mast arms will assist fire apparatus in safely exiting the property.
