Water and Irrigation Restrictions and Exemptions

Irrigation Days and Times for Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Institutional and Governmental Properties Not Utlizing Wastewater Effluent or Reuse Water

*Even and odd addresses irrigated on the same systems/zones should be watered on the days for even-numbered addresses (this may include multi-family units and homeowner associations).

The following activities shall be exempt from watering restrictions. Please refer to Town Code 20-345 for a detailed definition of these exemptions.

1. Hand-watering
2. Irrigation systems using wastewater effluent and/or reuse water
3. Operation of irrigation for testing/repair/maintenance of system
4. Flushing of water mains
5. Purpose of watering in fungicides, insecticides, and herbicides by licensed pest control operators and commercial/business operators
6. Additional irrigation for up to 90 days following installation of new lawns and landscaping as outlined:
