Why this study?
New Interlocal Agreement (ILA) with PBCFR effective 10/1/23, with a 10year term (current ILA sunsets on 9/30/23). PBCFR’s changing cost methodology during the negotiations for the new ILA drove the Town to analyze the fiscal sustainability of an increasing Fire & EMS MSTU over the long term. CPSM was contracted to explore the feasibility of Fire & EMS service delivery opportunities and options that may be available to the Town, to include a Town Fire Rescue Department and to provide relevant information to assist in the policy decision-making process on the future of Fire & EMS for the Town of Jupiter.
