Total Body Toning

As women age, muscle tissue is lost, increasing the tendency to develop fat. This class will help to re-define and firm muscles by using hand weights, balls, bands, and the ballet barre to sculpt the whole body, increase balance, and build bone density to prevent osteoporosis. Class includes interval training to provide quicker weight loss and concludes with stretching exercises to keep you flexible making muscles less prone to injury. Bring an exercise mat and weights to class.

This class is ballet creative movement class for little ones to explore ballet dance.

This is a ballet dance and tap dance class.

Home School Art & Nature

Classes will include environmental awareness experience with Brenda Nickolaus known as Mother Nature, while painting and crafting with green recycled items. Each craft is designed to encourage artistic play and to pay attention to the beauty of the small details in nature. We will cover a variety of topics; each class we will explore a different theme through hands-on activities, stories, crafts, encounters with resident animals as appropriate to the topic, and outdoor discovery. Activities: Bird ID, Clay Play, Insects in the Gardens, Trees and Forests, Water-Water Everywhere. ***There is a $20 supply fee due to the instructor the first day of class.

Zumba

Zumba combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow the Zumba participants to dance away their worries. It is fun and easy to do. Zumba is not only good for the body but also great for the mind.

Ballet basics including creative movement and some tumbling.

Beginning Ballet

Ballet technique with full barre and basic center work with some choreography.

Advanced ballet class for adult dancers with ballet experience.

Tai Chi

Tai Chi, as it is practiced in the west today, can perhaps be thought of as a moving form of yoga and meditation combined. Tai Chi Yang Style, has 65 forms which consist of a sequence of movements which are performed slowly, softly and gracefully. It can help to improve one’s balance, concentration and calmness. *Students should wear comfortable clothing and bring a bottle of water.
