    Functional fitness is a type of strength training class that trains the body for real life movement and activities. This class incorporates range of motion, flexibility, strength and balance movements. By mirroring the movements of your daily life, like squatting, reaching, twisting, and lifting, it will increase your quality of life and reduce your risk of injury. Designed for all levels-ages 55 and over. Modifications will be offered. Bring your own weights and exercise mat.

Visit www.traciesmusictogether.com to learn more about the program and register through the Jupiter Community Center. Our mixed age concept is the most dynamic way for children to learn! Additional $40 required material fee. Materials include a high quality picture/songbook, a CD with 25 - 30 songs plus access to a custom music app for your smart phone! Listen at home to continue the music, fun and the learning!

    A letter from Santa? Yes, kids it’s true. Jolly St. Nicholas wants to hear from you. From the North Pole, Santa will write your reply, faster than Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer can fly! Don’t forget to include your full name & address so Santa can write you back. Send your letters to : Santa c/o Jupiter Recreation Department 200 Military Trail Jupiter, FL 33458 OR Drop off your letter into Santa’s Special Mailbox located at the Jupiter Community Center.

  3. Homestead Exemption Outreach at the Jupiter Community Center

    Staff¬ from the Palm Beach County Property Appraiser’s Office, Division of Education Services, will be on-hand at the Jupiter Community Center (200 Military Trail) from 1:30 to 2:30 pm on September 14, October 12, November 9 and December 14 to help residents submit their Homestead Exemption application and answer any property valuation questions they may have.
