  1. Lighthouse Story Time & Crafts for Kids

    February 4, 2020, 10:30 AM - 11:15 AM @ Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Museum

    Join us under the Lighthouse Seminole Chickee Hut for story time & craft activity about Lighthouse Keepers, Florida History and People & Local Plants and Animals. Moms & Dads, this is ideal for kids ages 8 and under. Please bring a small beach/picnic mat for your child. Please arrive 10 minute prior for check-in. Gate closes/no admission after 10:40 am. Program is free & runs approximately 45 minutes. Space is limited to 25 children, RSVP required online by the Friday before program date. Program will meet in the Museum Quarterdeck room if there is inclement weather OR high heat. Supported by the Modica Family and The Joe Namath Foundation.   2. FEMA Palm Beach County Flood Risk Open House

    Palm Beach County flood maps are changing. Stop by whichever flood risk open house is more convenient to speak with a specialist and find answers to your questions. No appointment is necessary. Open to all Palm Beach County Residents.

    Attendees will be able to view preliminary flood maps, speak with insurance specialists and meet with local and FEMA officials.


    • Flooding can happen without warning. Everyone, regardless of their property's flood zone, should take steps to protect themselves from a disaster. • Flooding is the most common and costly natural disaster in the United States. Learn about the Palm Beach County flood maps and your flood risk by attending an Open house.
