  2. Hike through History

    October 5, 2019, 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM @ Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Museum

    Join our staff on a 2 mile trek through the 120-acre Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area discovering a history shaped by nature. Program is open to adults and children-minimum age 5, ages 13 & under must be accompanied by an adult that is at least 18 years old. Hiker’s footwear, active wear, a hat, and a full water bottle or canteen should be carried, tour is weather dependent. Hike meets at the Museum’s flag pole. Admission is free, but space is limited-RSVP required online. Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum, 500 Captain Armour’s Way, Jupiter, FL 33469.

  3. Fall Fest 2019

    October 5, 2019, 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM @ The Plaza Down Under on the Riverwalk

    We may not have turning leaves, but everyone knows nothing beats fall in Florida! This festival kicks off the fall season and celebrates the return of our fabulous seasonal residents.This year's event is themed after the Mexican fall holiday - Day of the Dead. The free-family event will feature a mariachi band, performances by Mexican folk dancers, local food vendors, a fiesta area with wine and beer, character appearances from the movie "Coco," and a kids carnival area with bounce houses and a petting zoo.

  4. Public Tour and Fish Feeding

    October 5, 2019, 2:00 PM - 2:30 PM @ Loxahatchee River Center

    Join us every Saturday at 2:00PM, for a FREE public tour of the aquariums. River Center staff provide information on each of the exhibits, and guests have the opportunity to see the fish in action during feeding time!

  5. 1st Annual J-Town Jam, A Musical Benefit Concert

    October 5, 2019, 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Downtown Abacoa

    Six-time Grammy winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member Jason Newsted will headline the inaugural J-Town Jam, a musical benefit concert supporting Little Smiles and Little Kids Rock. This special event will rock downtown Abacoa on Saturday, Oct. 5th, starting at 4:00 p.m. Newsted, the former bass player for heavy metal band Metallica, will headline the event with his Chophouse Band. Joining the all-star lineup for the event is JP Soars and the Red Hots and Moska Project. Emceeing the event is local celebrity and 20-year supporter of Little Smiles, Virgina Sinicki from the KVJ Show. Little Smiles is celebrating its 20-year anniversary of bringing joy and comfort to local children and their caregivers. This event will afford some Little Smiles children the opportunity to attend their first concert and meet Newsted himself. Tickets for this event are already selling quickly and are sure to sell out.
