  1. Jr. Angler Fishing Tournament

    June 2, 2018, 8:00 AM - July 14, 2018, 12:00 AM @ Loxahatchee River Center

    The Loxahatchee River District’s River Center, in partnership with Fishing Headquarters, is delighted to announce the 5th Annual Jr. Angler Fishing Tournament. Due to its high popularity last year with over 50 anglers, participation for this year’s tournament is expected to grow. Interested anglers should mark their calendars and set their reels for Saturday, June 2nd when the contest officially opens. Registration is open May 11th and throughout the entire tournament. The tournament is open to anyone between the ages of 5 and 17, but registration is required before submitted photographs can be awarded points. A registration fee of $25 per angler includes a t-shirt and an invitation to the “End of Summer” Fish Fry where the winners will be announced and prizes awarded on Friday, July 20th at 6:00 PM.

  2. Lighthouse Book Club

    Join us for book discussions on all things Florida! Discover the surprisingly rich heritage of our State in both fiction and non-fiction. Book Club meets the first Wednesday of every month (second Wednesday in July & Dec) in the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum Quarterdeck room. Donation suggested.   3. Lighthouse Sunset Tour

    June 6, 2018, 7:45 PM - 9:00 PM @ Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Museum

    Take in the spectacular sunset views and witness the Jupiter Light turning on to illuminate the night sky. Visitors get an inside look at the nuts & bolts of a working lighthouse watchroom. Tour time approximately 75 minutes, Cost: $20 per person, $15 for Lighthouse Members, Tickets required-purchase online or call 561-747-8380 x101.Tours are weather permitting.     Children ages 6-12 years old will enjoy making art with clay, paint, mixed media, music and - for the first time in our 48 years of summer art camp - Technology! Full STEAM Ahead at Lighthouse ArtCenter School of Art offers the whole enchilada. While ArtCampers explore their own unique creativity they make artwork to take home and engage with friends and families in the community by working together to create a monumental temporary art installation. Make this a summer they’ll always remember. Sign your student up early (before classes fill) or sponsor a child by giving to our scholarship fund. ?Scholarships available.
