Lynn Drake

Historical Researcher and Genealogist, Lynn has specialized in Jupiter and SE Florida pioneer families for over 20 years. Her current projects include documenting the Bahamian/Conch families that settled early Riviera Beach and the history of Hobe Sound. She also writes a monthly history column called “Our Heritage Revisited” for The Beacon, serving the north county area. A Volunteer Genealogist and Lineage Researcher for the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, she helps applicants with membership into DAR and other lineage societies. Lynn has co-authored two pictorial histories published by Arcadia, Images of America Series: “Jupiter” with William Carlin White in 2003 and “West Palm Beach 1893-1950” with Richard A. Marconi with the Historical Society of Palm Beach County in 2006. She is a past Archivist & Research Specialist at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum Archives & Research Library, run by the Loxahatchee River Historical Society.
