Notice of Public Hearing: Medical Center Signage Zoning Text Amendment Application

Please take notice that Public Hearings on the item listed below will be held in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Complex, 210 Military Trail, Jupiter, Florida at 7:00 PM on:

  • March 14, 2019.......Planning and Zoning Commission
  • April 2, 2019............Town Council Hearing (1st rdg)
  • April 16, 2019..........Town Council Hearing (2nd rdg)

Medical Center Signage - Zoning text amendment to Section 27-3359 entitled "Permitted signs", Section 27-3362 entitled "Space regulations for permanent signs" and Section 27-3363, entitled "Space regulations for P-7 and P-8 signs" to create a new P-18 category for "hospital signage" to include hospital building identification signs, wall signs, free standing signs, and public entrance identification signs on properties with an approved master plan in the Medical Center zoning district. (PZ# 3644) *

At such time and place the Planning and Zoning Commission/Town Council will hear all evidence and arguments in support or in opposition to this item. Anyone desiring to appeal a decision of the presiding body on matters considered at this meeting or hearing will need a record of the proceedings. They may need to ensure that a verbatim record is made, including the testimony and evidence on which the appeal is based. The Town of Jupiter does not provide such a record.
