Senior Academy - Fall 2018!
The Town of Jupiter is partnering with the Palm Beach County Division of Senior Services for this year’s Senior Academy. This free academy provides seniors with valuable information about the Area Agency on Ageing and it's Helpline, Senior Health and Nutrition, Senior Life Balance and Healthy Living, Diabetes, Senior Safety/issues with Fraud and Abuse, Elder Rights, Estate Planning and Legal Information, Transportation with the Palm Tran Connection, Medicare 101 and SHINE, Social Security and Palm Beach County Division of Senior Services program information.
This year's Senior Academy will be held on 4 consecutive Wednesdays in October and November.
|Wednesday, October 24th||1:00 -4:30 pm||Area Agency on Aging (AAA) services and programs including: Elder Rights, AAA Helpline, Healthy Living, Medicare and SHINE.|
|Wednesday, October 31st||1:00 -4:30 pm||Jupiter Medical Center presents information about Diabetes and Senior Life Balance.|
Special guest presenter Attorney Karp presenting information about legal issues seniors may face.
|Wednesday, November 7th||1:00 -4:30 pm||Crimes Against Seniors presented by the Jupiter Police Department Community and Outreach Unit.|

Resource FairThe Senior Academy Resource Fair is back!
Come join us for a gathering of local businesses and organizations. Learn more about services offered to seniors in our community and celebrate the conclusion of the Annual Senior Academy. If you are interested in participating as an exhibitor at the Resource Fair fill out the registration form here and we will be in contact with you. Please read the registration and eligibility information listed on the form before applying.
All classes and the resource fair will be held in the Auditorium at the Jupiter Community Center (200 Military Tr.).
