John D. MacArthur State Park

The park is located in northern Palm Beach County at the North end of Singer Island. The park is open from 8am until sundown 365 days a year. The entrance fee is $5.00 per vehicle, maximum of 8 people. Park visitors can participate in a variety of recreational activities, including kayaking, beach fishing, bird-watching, and snorkeling.

This park offers many activities and opportunities for outdoor adventure! Hike, bike, horseback, canoe, kayak, river tours, nature center, camping, bird watching, and more. A newly rebuilt boat launch ramp is available on the Loxahatchee River. The Loxahatchee eventually leads to the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean. The boat ramp fee is $4.00 + tax.

Conveniently located just south of Jupiter inlet, Burt Reynolds Park boat ramps are open 24/7 (west side only) and only a few short idle minutes away from the inlet. There are two areas where you can drop your boat in at this park. The "West" side is more for the larger boats as the East side ramps require you to clear the US1 bridge in either direction. Amenities at this park are plentiful on the east side with horseshoe pits, picnic areas with grills, shelters/pavilions, playground, restrooms, sand volleyball court and a non-motorized vessel launching beach. Burt Reynolds Park is also home to the River Center and the Northern Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce.

Dubois Park

DuBois Park is not only one of the most unique swimming beaches in the north county area but also one of the most historical. Amenities include 1,200 feet of beachfront, a guarded 100 feet swimming lagoon, picnic areas with grills, playground, restroom facilities and outdoor showers. It is also home to the DuBois Pioneer Home, National Register of Historic Places and an Indian mound, a historical and archeological treasure. Fishing is not permitted in guarded swimming areas.
