The Town of Jupiter Recreation Division will be offering Skateboarding Camp at the Jupiter Skate Park during the Palm Beach County Summer Break. This interactive camp will be run by Locals Surf Shop at the Jupiter Skate Park facility. Activities will include evaluations, skill development and enhancement, drills and free skate.

Equipment Needed:
  • Skateboard
  • Campers must wear a helmet
  • Knee and elbow pads are recommended
  • Water bottle

Surfers will learn ocean awareness, surfing techniques that range from beginner to advanced, surf
etiquette, proper equipment, and wave selection while ensuring safety and providing a fun atmosphere.

  • Bring sunscreen, a rashguard, snorkel gear, and plenty of water and snacks.
  • End of the week pizza and giveaway party on Fridays.

Resident registration begins April 8, 2019

Non-resident registration begins April 15, 2019
  • In-person
    Registration can be completed at the Jupiter Community Center, located at 200 Military Trail Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-8:00 PM and Saturday, 8:30 AM-4:00 PM.
  • Online Registration
    You will need to know your Rectrac Household number; this is NOT your JTAA PAYS number. If you do not know, or do not have a Rectrac Household number please contact the Jupiter Community Center for assistance at (561) 741-2400.
Full payment is due at registration
In accordance with the ADA, all persons with special needs are welcome to register. Please call Derek Harse at 561-741-2433 at least two weeks prior to camp start date in order to ensure appropriate needs can be met.
