Municipal Complex: New Police Department and Data Center

The Town of Jupiter is improving its municipal complex site at the corner of Military Trail and Indiantown Road by upgrading aging infrastructure, providing necessary hardened facilities, and offering amenities desired by the growing Jupiter Community.

Initial Phase

The initial phase of the upgrades to the municipal complex will begin in early 2019, and will include a new, hardened Police Department facility to house day-to-day public safety resources and activities as well as a data center to support Town information infrastructure. This facility would also serve as the Town’s Emergency Operations Center and house police and Town personnel before, during and after disasters such as hurricanes.

Pardon Our Mess

Beginning in early 2019, the initial phase of the project, lasting 2-3 months, will include the construction of additional parking areas on a portion of the field space on the south side of the Community Center and enlargement of the lake adjacent to the field space.  There will be minor disruption to the flow of traffic in and out of the Municipal Complex and residents will see temporary fencing around the construction areas.  Highlights of future phases will include construction of the new building in the parking area north of Town Hall and east of the Community Center; construction of a Veterans Memorial; and modifications to the access roads that travel through the Municipal Complex.

The site plan for this initial phase was approved on October 16, 2018.  View the plans, or watch video of the meeting. For additional information on the planned Veterans Memorial, please see the proposed plan and renderings.

Future Phases

Future enhancements to the municipal complex may include additional recreational facilities, additional parking, greenspace, and community amenities. A companion project to realign the intersection of Daniels' Way and Indiantown Road will also create a modified entryway to the complex from Indiantown Road.  To stay informed of upcoming meetings, subscribe to Town news and updates.  Or, follow us on Facebook or Twitter.
