Turtle Trot 5K Run

New Course!

The Town of Jupiter would like to invite all runners to join us for our 24th Annual Turtle Trot 5K Run. Due to road construction, the 2014 Turtle Trot 5K will be held at a new location - Ocean Cay Park, Jupiter.  This is a flat and fast, out and back 3.1 mile race along the beautiful Jupiter beach. A free tech shirt goes to the first 500 registered participants, available sizes are first come, first served. Multi-Race will manage all timing and scoring.

Enjoy fresh and hot post-race pancakes provided by Firefighters to the Rescue, refreshing Italian ice from Annie's Italian Ice, bagels from Brooklyn Water Bagel Company and fresh fruit from Berry Fresh Cafe! Firefighters to the Rescue will also be on site with t-shirts for sale to help raise money for their cause.

1st-3rd overall male and female and first three places for male and female runners in each of the 15 age groups.

New This Year
  • Kid's Fun Run with the Firefighters*
    Kids come and run along side some of our local firefighters in the 1 Mile (ages 11 & under) Fun Run. Start time 7:10am; Cotton t-shirt and finishers medal given to all Fun Run participants.  *Not a timed race
  • Group Registration
    3 or more runners may register as a team and an award will be given to the team with the most participants!

  • Pre-registration ends Wednesday, April 30, 2014
    IMPORTANT!!! One day only packet pick up!
    Packet pick up is Friday, May 2nd
    Location: Jupiter Community Center, 200 Military Trail, Jupiter
    Time: 9am-6pm
  • No race registrations will be accepted on Thursday, May 1st or Friday, May 2nd  

Important Race Day Information 
  • Race day registration ends at 7:00am.
  • Race day payment is cash or check only
  • Make check payable to Town of Jupiter
  • 5K Race Day fee is $30 (all ages);
    Kid’s Fun Run 1 Miler Race Day Fee is $15 (ages 11 & under)
  • Roads close at 7:00am on race day.

Volunteer Information
Teen and adult volunteers are needed for this annual race. Volunteers will assist with traffic control, water stations, registration and more. All volunteers will receive a race t-shirt and continental breakfast. Teen volunteers may receive community service hours. No court ordered hours accepted

All volunteers will be required to pick up a volunteer packet on Friday, May 2, 2014, from 9:00am-6:00pm at the Jupiter Community Center. If you are interested in volunteering please contact Jenny Booth at (561) 741-2400.
