Waste Management Advisory
The Town of Jupiter wishes to advise its residents of the regulations relating to the collection of bulk trash, vegetation, recyclable materials and household trash and garbage. These items may be placed at the curb no earlier than noon on the day prior to collection, and all trash receptacles and recycling bins must be removed from the curb no later than midnight on the day of collection.

Pick-up Schedule for the Following Neighborhoods
  • Pine Gardens North on Tuesday and Friday
  • Pine Gardens South on Wednesday and Saturday
  • Eastview Manor on Tuesday and Friday
  • Jupiter River Estates on Wednesday and Saturday

Tuesday and Wednesday: bulk trash, vegetative waste (yard waste, grass clippings, hedge & tree trimmings), recyclables, and household trash & garbage will be collected.

Friday and Saturday: only vegetative waste, household trash & garbage will be collected.

Location and Schedule for Set-out of Cans and Containers

Garbage cans, trash containers, bulk trash, vegetative waste and recyclable materials bins shall be located adjacent to and directly in front of the owner’s or resident's property, unless an alternate location is approved by the town, and shall be kept accessible to the collection personnel and inspectors. No containers or items shall be placed on neighboring property not in ownership or tenancy of the persons by whom the materials are accumulated, whether such neighboring property is vacant or unimproved. No containers or items shall be placed or located in the travel lane or sidewalk of any street, alley or public right-of-way.

Garbage cans, trash containers, bulk trash and recyclable materials bins shall not be put out before noon the day prior to scheduled pick-up, and shall be removed by midnight the day of collection. (Code 1975, § 11-4; Ord. No. 37-02, § 2, 7-2-02)

Items Not Picked Up by Waste Management
Car batteries, tires, car parts, paint cans, lawn mowers and construction debris. A special pick-up for all appliances containing Freon, such as refrigerators and air conditioners, must be arranged directly with Waste Management.
