Water Treatment Plant Structure Hardening Improvements:
These improvements consist of structurally hardening essential facilities at the water treatment plant including the system control room, high service pumping facility, chemical rooms, and an emergency power generator facility. Specific tasks to be undertaken include securing building openings and exposed equipment that may be jeopardized by wind borne damage or flying debris. These improvements are partially funded by a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency grant. Construction will start in February 2011 and will be completed in December 2011. Water Treatment Plant Warehouse:
This project will include construction of a water treatment plant warehouse to replace the old warehouse which was demolished for construction of the nanofiltration water treatment facility. The new warehouse will be located at the water treatment plant on Central Boulevard. Demolition of the existing lime softening plants will occur prior to construction of the new warehouse. Loxahatchee Drive Stormwater Rehabilitation:
Repair
of deteriorated segments of drainage pipe and structures along North Loxahatchee Drive (between Indiantown Road and Center Street). This
project will start in August 2011 and be completed in Feb. 2012. For more

Water Transmission Main Extension Along Western Indiantown Road:
This project includes construction of water
transmission mains along
Indiantown Road (from Jupiter Country Club west to Jupiter Farms
Road) and along the north and east sides of Jupiter
Farms Plaza.
This project
will start in July 2011 and will be completed in February 2012.
