BUSCH WILDLIFE SANCTUARY The Busch Wildlife Sanctuary is a non profit, educational based care facility for injured animals who are dedicated to bringing wildlife and people together to develop community awareness of the value of Florida's natural resources.
THE RIVER CENTER The River Center will be opening on August 23rd. It will consist of a combination of static displays, interactive exhibits, live tanks which will trace the river system from a freshwater cypress swamp to seagrass-dominated estuary to marine ecosystems. The center will provide school children, adults, visitors, and long-time residents an opportunity to learn about Florida's first federally designated Wild and Scenic River.
JUPITER INLET LIGHTHOUSE & MUSEUM Non-profit , educational and cultural organization formed in 1971 who currently oversees the operations of the Dubios Pioneer Home, Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum.
RIVERBEND PARK Riverbend Park is considered by most to be a jewel in Palm Beach County's park system. Five miles of waterways and fifteen miles of access roads and trails have been carved into over 680 acres of diverse marsh and subtropical terrain making this park a splendid resource for hiking, bicycling, horseback riding, canoeing, and kayaking. Self-guided trails are open for hiking, bicycling, horseback riding, canoeing, and kayaking seven days a week, from sunrise to one hour before sunset.
LOGGERHEAD MARINELIFE CENTER Not in Jupiter but a very cool place to visit in Juno Beach. The Marinelife Center of Juno Beach is a non profit education and conservation facility located on the ocean in Palm Beach County. The facility houses a variety of exhibits, live sea turtles and other coastal creatures. Exhibits include a giant Leatherback sea turtle, salt water aquaria and displays of local wildlife, as well as educational displays about south Florida's marine environment.
