Whenever an event runs past NORMAL OPERATING HOURS
or if the Community Center is closed, at least one Parks and Recreation
staff is required to be at the Community Center to supervise your
event. This is considered overtime for staff and is an option for staff
to work but is a mandatory requirement to use the Community Center. When
an application is submitted requiring overtime it is submitted to staff
and is filled based on available staff. If no one signs up for the
event to work the event will not be approved. Reservations dates
submitted a year in advance, on HOLIDAYS and holiday weekends have proven to be difficult to fill as staff is unable to commit to them.- Category 1 rentals are limited to Monday - Thursday unless preapproved by the Community Center Supervisor.
- Category
4 and 5 rentals are limited to weekend usage (Friday, Saturday and
Sunday) unless pre-approved by the Community Center Supervisor.
- The community center will be closed on HOLIDAYS and not available for rental unless pre-approved by the Community Center Supervisor.
- The
operational plans of an event and the event itself shall not interfere
with the normal operations of the Community Center. An event will be
denied based on this item.
- The
Community Center Supervisor reserves the right to limit the amount of
weekend usage based on staffing, maintenance and set up issues.
