Many of Jupiter's teens are required to complete volunteer hours in order to graduate from High School or for specific academic classes and programs. Volunteers can work in different areas of the Recreation Division depending upon your skills and needs. Please note that we cannot accept volunteers with court-ordered community service hours. All volunteers must register online (below). The following is a list of upcoming Volunteer Opportunities:
Easter Egg Hunt - Saturday, April 7; 8am-Noon, Jupiter Community Center
Teens will assist with decorating, arts & crafts, inflatables, Easter Bunny visits and more at this family-oriented event. Registration will begin March 1.
Turtle Trot 5K - Saturday, May 5; 5am-11am, Carlin Park, Jupiter
Responsible teens and adults are needed for this annual 5K run. Volunteers will assist with registration, packet pick-up, water stations, parking, and more. Registration will begin March 1.
Online Volunteer Registration
All volunteers who register online will be contacted by a Recreation Division employee during the week of the actual event to inform them of directions regarding their responsibilities for the event. (Please do not be alarmed if volunteers are not contacted immediately after registering.) At that time, they will be given specific times and locations, as well as what to wear for the event. Once signed up online, it is the volunteer's responsibility to make sure they are available to work for the duration of the times listed above. The success of all Town of Jupiter events is highly dependent upon all of our volunteers so it is extremely important that you show up at the required time with a commitment to your assignment.
If you have questions please call 561-741-2400 or e-mail.
PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER IF YOU ARE NOT COMMITTED TO WORKING THE EVENT!
