The Jubilee Eco-Tourism Expo is an event for incorporated Jupiter businesses & northern Palm Beach County Non-profit/Governmental organizations to exhibit and interact with the local community at Jupiter's largest community celebration. The Expo will be held during the 10th Annual Jupiter Jubilee in the Community Center Multi-Purpose Gym on Saturday, February 4, 2012 from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm.
Eligibility
You must fit into one of the below categories to be eligible to participate in the Eco-Tourism Expo:
For Profit - Early registration fee $100 on or before 12/31/11; $125 beginning 1/01/2012. Incorporated Jupiter Eco-Tourism Businesses that Provide Eco-Tourism Activities. Please provide your business registration tax receipt number at the time of registration. (I.E., Snorkeling, Scuba Diving, Canoeing, Kayaking, etc.)
Non-Profit - No Charge
Northern Palm Beach County Eco-Tourism Destinations
(I.E., wildlife sanctuaries, nature centers, etc.)
Eco-Tourism Non-Profit Organization
(Must provide have 501(c)3 with application)
Governmental Agencies
(NENA, PBC, FL State Parks, etc.)
Application Process
Applications will be accepted online and spaces will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Once space is confirmed, payment must be received within 48 hours or the space will be released.
Exhibit Space
Exhibitor spaces will be a 10' x 10'. Any equipment/set up brought in the fair MUST fit within this space or you will be asked to remove it.
Set up/Breakdown
The Eco-Tourism Expo designated set up time is Friday, February 3, 2012 from 9:00 am – 8:00 pm. Additional set up time will be permitted on Saturday, February 4th from 8:00 am – 9:00 am. You may not breakdown your event until after 5:00 pm at which time all equipment must be removed from the Community Center. We are unable to store any equipment overnight.
Rules & Policies
Exhibitors must comply with all rules and policies of the Expo. By initialing the online application, applicants agree to the following rules, policies, acknowledgements and general releases:
- The purpose and objective of the Eco-Tourism Expo is to allow Town of Jupiter eco-tourism businesses the opportunity to promote and market their business in an effort to generate future leads and customers.
- One application and space per business.
- Space activities should be appropriate to the family-oriented nature of the Jubilee.
- Businesses are not permitted to giveaway food or drinks to patrons.
- Selling of products onsite is strictly prohibited; however, generating leads through couponing, surveying or mail logs is permissible.
- You will be responsible for providing your space with any equipment, chairs, tables and office supplies for your event.
- While we want to encourage a creative space, please remember to remain within the 10' x 10' space provided.
- The Town reserves the right to decline or reject any questionable, non-approved material from the Expo.
- No animals are allowed in the Expo.
- The Jupiter Jubilee is a green event, and we encourage you to use green practices in regards to your giveaways and paper use. Absolutely no balloon giveaways or balloon decorations are allowed.
- A flyer listing all Eco-Tourism Expo participants and their contact information will be developed and provided by the Town at the Jubilee.
- Electrical requests for laptops, etc. must be made in advance.
- Audio presentations must be kept to a low volume in respect to adjacent booths.
